Disruption from 6 May 2021 (Thu) to 13 May 2021 (Tue)

We wish to inform users that your access to EBSCOhost ebooks may be impacted between 6 May and 13 May due to a system upgrade. The scheduled system upgrade will suspend downloads of full ebooks hosted on the platform to read offline. However, you will still be able to read EBSCOhost ebooks online, as well as download ebook chapters. Any ebooks already downloaded from EBSCOhost prior to the upcoming system upgrade will continue to be available to you.

All services are expected to be back to normal on 14 May 2021 (Wed).

With effect from 7 September 2020, the NIE Library will be opening from 8.30 am to 8.00 pm on weekdays and 8.30 am to 5.00 pm on Saturdays.

We are delighted to inform you that the NIE Library will reopen on 3 August 2020.

With effect from 3 August 2020, the new operating hours are:

• Mon - Fri: 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Sat/Sun/PH: Closed

The Bookmark Café and the Photocopying & Printing Office will also be open.

Please take note of the following when visiting library premises:

1. Adhere to prevailing safe distancing regulations.
2. All library patrons are required to wear a face mask within the library premises.
3. Comply with limit set on the number allowed in the library at any one time. Entry will be denied once limit is reached.
